How much will it cost?
In many cases, counseling services will cost you very little or even nothing. We accept payment from most insurances including Medicaid. We are in-network providers for many private insurance companies, including Blue Cross Blue Shield. Sometimes insurance will cover the entire cost of the service and sometimes insurances require a copay to be paid at the time of service. If you do not have any insurance coverage, services can be provided but you are responsible for the cost. However, if you are uninsured and cannot afford the cost services can be provided using a sliding scale fee, which means the cost of the service is determined by your income. You will have to furnish proof of your income to qualify for a sliding fee scale. Aspiring Hearts Counseling also provides discounts that could apply to you. To determine the cost of services for you, please contact us to discuss your current situation to determine the specific cost to you.

How much time must I commit?
Generally, counseling sessions are scheduled weekly or biweekly for around an hour. Depending on the goals of treatment, goals may be reached within a few weeks or may take significantly more time. Talk with your therapist for more information if you have questions concerning the length of your treatment. In many cases, a more serious commitment to treatment can help reduce the duration of treatment. If you feel that an hour each week may be too difficult to commit to, then talk with your therapist. Services can be indivualized to meet your needs; however, a therapist can assist you in determining what is therapeutically appropriate and within your needs.   If you have any additional questions, please email or call us. We will be happy to assist you with any questions you have about our services.
